Food that Causes Acne

Only the truly genetically lucky can say that they have never gotten acne. In fact, even famous celebrities have been photographed with a pimple every now and then. As almost everyone gets them, there are many factors that affect their occurrence. Common causes of acne are dirt in the environment, genes, hormonal changes, vitamin deficiency, and stress. Food, however, is also known to cause acne. If you are allergic to some foods, it is highly likely that your body will react though skin breakouts. The following are common food that causes allergies, which in turn, may lead to acne:

dairy products (cheese, pasteurized milk, cream)
flour, either white or refined
spicy food
red meat
wheat and wheat products (biscuits, crackers, bread, etc)
caffeine
alcohol
chocolate
candy
rice
eggs
gluten
corn
oyster
yeast
mushroom

Basically, any food that you are allergic to can make you suffer from acne. This is because a food allergy is a sign that your immune system is rejecting a particular food. Manifestations of this rejection may vary from stomach troubles to skin irritations. Hence, acne can be caused by the food that you are allergic to. If you want to avoid having acne, you have to know which foods you are allergic to and avoid them at all costs.
